We’re a local crew, not a rotating cast of subcontractors. The people who show up at your door in Dallas are the same people who answer our phones, run our dryers, and sign off on the final moisture readings. Most of us have worked together for years, and all of us work under one rule: if water is somewhere it shouldn’t be, somebody has to make a decision, fast. A marsh is low, wet ground. That’s what we deal with every day.
Restoration work we handle

Our People
Marcus T. – Lead Water Damage Technician
Marcus has been running water extraction jobs in Dallas for over a decade, and he’s seen just about every way a house can flood. He holds IICRC certifications in water damage restoration and applied structural drying, which means he’s trained to calculate exactly how many air movers and dehumidifiers a room needs before the equipment ever comes off the truck. His specialty is slab-on-grade homes, where water travels under baseboards and hides in walls long after the carpet feels dry. When he’s not reading psychrometric readings (measuring the moisture in the air), Marcus is rebuilding motorcycle engines in his garage in Garland.
Dana W. – Senior Mold Remediation Installer
Dana runs our mold containment and remediation jobs, and she’s methodical about it. She’s credentialed through RIA and has spent years handling Dallas’s particular mold problem: the humidity that creeps back every spring and feeds growth behind drywall that never fully dried. Her specialty is full-room containment with negative air pressure, which is exactly what it sounds like: sealing the room so mold spores don’t float into the rest of your house while we remove the damaged material. Dana grew up in Oak Cliff and keeps a vegetable garden that she describes as “a controlled experiment in what survives a Texas August.”
Elena R. – Service Coordinator
Elena is the voice on the phone at 3 a.m. when a supply line bursts in your ceiling, and she’s been doing dispatch for restoration work in Dallas for seven years. She’s the one who asks for photos of the damage, tells you what to do in the next hour, and sends you the name and photo of the technician headed your way before he leaves the shop. Elena knows the difference between an emergency that can’t wait until morning and one that can be put on hold with a few towels and a shut-off valve. She keeps a running list of the best breakfast tacos in Dallas and will share it if you ask.
Jorge M. – Apprentice Technician
Jorge is the newest member of our crew, two years into his training under Marcus and Dana. Every one of our technicians starts this way: running equipment, learning containment setups, watching how commercial drying jobs get documented. Jorge is already certified through the IFA and has a knack for the detail work, like temperature mapping and daily moisture logs. He’s the one who will label every piece of drying equipment with its placement time and target humidity, because he’s learned that if you can’t document it, you didn’t do it. Jorge grew up in Mesquite and worked as a commercial building custodian before joining the restoration trade.
One Standard, Every Job
Marsh Water Damage Dallas has been part of the Threshold Group family since 2005, and the Threshold Standard is not optional for any crew member. It’s five steps, applied to every visit: the technician is background-checked and identity-verified before they’re assigned to your job; they arrive uniformed with a photo ID badge they show at the door; they give you a written price before any work starts; they explain what they’re doing and why; and they leave you with a written, time-stamped work order that includes our 365-Day Done Right Promise. If something isn’t right within a year, we come back and make it right, free of charge. No arguing, no fine print. That’s how the Dallas crew has worked for two decades, and it’s how we’ll show up at your door tomorrow. Call us at (432) 529-4284.
